Internship Overview: The Duke Energy Information Technology Summer Internship Program is designed for currently enrolled college students looking to bring their passion, skills, knowledge, and innovative mindset to the energy sector. IT Interns will gain on-the-job experience and exposure to areas such as, software engineering, data analytics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cloud engineering. Ideal candidates should be highly motivated and have the curiosity to take on new complex challenges while contributing directly to team goals along with honing their own skills for future technical and professional endeavors. Throughout the summer internship, students will learn more about the Enterprise Technology and Security department, as well as the broader company's business operations, by attending various site visits, information sessions and networking events with senior leadership and peers.
