Responsibilities The Intern will participate in the corporate general ledger function and learn accounting policies and procedures. The successful candidate will gain basic knowledge of the construction industry, general ledger, and financial reporting. Must be able to seek out additional tasks as time allows, assume additional responsibilities, and develop and maintain positive professional relationships both internally and externally. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION - Currently enrolled in an Accounting degree program or similar discipline - Prior exposure to construction industry is a plus - Or equivalent combination of education and experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - Strong communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For Rhode Island the pay ranges from $19.20-$26.40 an hour.
