How you will do it:

• Coordinate the activities of warehouse associates (picking, packing, & shipping).

• Act as a liaison between warehouse associatesand management when necessary.

• Assist in the troubleshooting of operations issues (printers, lifts, etc).

• Monitor associate adherence to SOP's & enforce quality control.

• Record shipment data (weights and dimensions), process shipments via customer software and ensure shipments are loaded on the appropriate carrier.

• Pick inventory, process orders, perform cycle counts and process inventory transactions when necessary.

• Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.

• Participate in the preparation and counting of physical inventory.

• Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

What we look for:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• Experience in Digital & Analog Camera Systems

• Experience in Access Control Systems

• Understanding of the function and design of Alarm Systems

• Experience with IP addressable security devices (2+ years)

• Must be computer literate to include advanced TCP/IP networking skills

• Must be able to operate a company truck with an acceptable driving record

• Is proficient with all aspects and operation of card access, CCTV systems

Preferred

• High school graduate or GED equivalent and 5 years of responsible experience in warehouse receiving procedures or any equivalent combination of experience and education.

• Working knowledge of a computerized inventory control system.

• Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.

• Sound knowledge of shipping requirements and regulations, this includes exporting requirements also.

• Reasonable knowledge of databases and interfaces to ensure the Freight Forwarder Software is working correctly, interfacing the shipments to and from the ERP system.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers.

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to operate a forklift and order picking equipment.

• Performing these duties, the employee is frequently required to stand and be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
