Job Summary

The General laborer is accountable to produce goods as specified on the job traveler or other instructions given by supervisor.

What You'll Do...

• Perform production operations to obtain utmost and ongoing efficiency
• Support ongoing quality improvement processes to ensure all deliverables are produced defect free and aligned with technical specifications

• Follow standard operational procedures and work practices and policies to ensure consistency of output
• Produce goods as specified on the job ticket or other instructions given by the supervisor or team leader
• Follow MPI procedures per job work center
• Read and understand job traveler and utilize computer job tracking system
• Visually inspect for substandard sheets during all operations
• Maintain efficiency and quality benchmarks per MPI standards
• Request any training required for you to succeed
• Maintain organized and clean work environment
• Enter recommendations to management for improvements in areas such as personal safety improved product quality better rates and yields, or any other matters that impact shop costs or employee's health
• Practice safe working habits as detailed in the Company Safety Manual and Employee Handbook
• Do other tasks as directed by a supervisor
