We are looking for a Senior Network Administrator to join our team in Danielson, CT. This role is 100% on site.

As a Senior Network Administrator, you will provide advanced technical support and maintenance to the SPIROL network and systems environment by ensuring high availability, quality and security. This role leads the organization in network administration, system administration, cybersecurity and higher level support issues.

The Senior Network Administrator also:



  • Establishes networking environment by designing networks and baseline configurations.


  • Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages.


  • Delivers proactive notification of potential and actual issues impacting service delivery. Provides frequent communication to leadership during and post incident to include root cause and corrective action plans.


  • Assists with the maintenance and management of the server infrastructure environment, cloud and on-premise.


The successful candidate should have:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science , or equivalent work experience in IT operations.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco/JNCP, security (CISM, CISSP) and/or commensurate work experience.


  • Minimum 7 years' experience in a Network Administrator role.


  • Strong organization skills, with the ability to work independently to gather requirements, evaluate solutions, build and communicate a plan to all relevant parties, and execution of approved plans using internal and external resources.


  • Demonstrated ability to maintain, install and upgrade network and computer/server hardware and software.
