QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Knife River is hiring for a Quality Control Technician based out of our Western Montana Division.

Job Responsibilities will include:
* Material sampling, testing, technical documentation/logging and various quality control procedures.
* Develop and implement Quality Control practices and procedures
* Understand and execute the required testing procedures in conformance with the contract documents and industry standards
* Monitor, document and track Quality Control documents including but not limited to Quality Control Plans, Daily Reports, Testing
Reports and Inspection Reports
* Review all special inspection and material testing performed by third parties

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree is highly desired.
* OSHA 30 or MSHA preferred
* Ability to be certified in material testing is required; However, training and certification opportunities will be provided.
* Quality Control experience preferred but not required.
* Basic math skills and good record keeping required.
* Basic computer and spreadsheet skills preferred, but not necessary.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs of material.
* Ability to work overtime and some weekends.
* A professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers.
* Valid Driver's License.
