Henry Ford Home Health Care's services are provided by a staff of qualified registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified wound, ostomy and continence nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, medical social workers, dietitians, and home health aides. We offer several specialty programs designed to fit the complex needs of our patients. Whether it is high technology care for patients with organ transplants, intravenous therapy or tube feedings, or orthopedic care through the Joint Replacement Care at Home Program, our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care. GENERAL SUMMARY: The Home Care Occupational Therapist is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, development, implementation, education and revision of treatment programs as necessary for provision of age-specific direct care/services to patients. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Graduate of an accredited occupational therapist program; Bachelors or Master's degree required. LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: Licensure in the State of Michigan as an Occupational Therapist required. Requires valid Michigan driver's license and dependable vehicle insured as required by the State of Michigan. Home Care experience preferred.
