The Institute for Families (
IFF) at the Rutgers School of Social Work exists to advance the professional practice and knowledge base of individuals and organizations improving the lives of children and families. The Institute delivers services through a portfolio of over $40M in awards that increase the capacity of child welfare and human service systems, largely through training, technical assistance, and applied research and evaluation services which are delivered through Institute sites throughout the state and a host of community-based locations.
IFF's programming includes education and training for the human services workforce, including the New Jersey Child Support Institute.
NJCSI was established to provide education to workers at all experience levels in the state's child support system, including professionals within New Jersey's County Welfare Agencies, Administrative Office of the Courts Probation Child Support Enforcement Units, and Family Divisions. This work includes the development and delivery of learning events that include in-person training, virtual synchronous education, hands-on computer simulations and self-paced, asynchronous sessions. |

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Program Administrator Supervisor for the Institute for Families.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Oversees operational aspects related to the Institute's human services education.
- Leads a multi-site team and manages competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Plans the vision and details for all learning events (including trainings, conferences and community events) and implements the logistics required for successful execution (instructor assignments, site assignments, production of learning materials, submission of reports).
- Supervises two professionals responsible for planning learning events and provides administrative support at sites hosting learning events.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree.
- Seven (7) years experience that demonstrates knowledge of project management, administrative processes, and supervision of staff across multiple locations.

Certifications/Licenses |
- A valid driver's license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.

- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with a great deal of independence and discretion and to keep sensitive matters confidential.
- Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks simultaneously and maintain calm under pressure.
- Ability to manage time and projects in order to complete work thoroughly and on time.
- Ability to interact effectively with very diverse people and with a wide range of stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience in coordinating large scale training or education projects.
- Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software programs.
- Strong capability of working autonomously to coordinate and provide effective decision making to meet project needs.
