AI/ML Computational Science Manager

AI/ML Computational Science Manager (Accenture LLP; Raleigh, NC): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of AI/ML Computational Science Manager in Raleigh, NC, and the job duties are as follows:

• Develop extensible Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) architectures, ensuring future technology agility and leading cloud migration initiatives.
• Create AI/ML strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals, identifying opportunities for enablement materials.
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, GitHub pipelines, or other automation tools.
• Assist in the technical delivery of cutting-edge AI/ML projects, leading early adoption efforts for new software releases.
• Deliver strategic solution demonstrations showcasing AI/ML capabilities, tailoring presentations to address specific client needs.
• Supervise a team in interpreting user/system requirements for AI/ML applications, fostering collaboration across the Service Delivery Lifecycle.
• Manage AI/ML project execution, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and scope, while conducting project and issue management reporting to senior management.
• Align AI/ML initiatives with the strategic direction set by senior management, ensuring strategic goals guide decision-making.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

• Developing technical architecture and design for analytics and data management software;
• Developing and deploying cloud infrastructure leveraging cloud technology services including Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Containers, Databases, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning;
• Utilizing Information Technology Infrastructure Libraries (ITIL), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), DevOps, and agile methodologies and working with enterprise change and release management processes; and
• Resolving scalability and defects in large scale data and analytics platform deployments.

Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:

• Utilizing cloud-native tools, including Kubernetes, Containers, Docker, Serverless, Data Operations, and Model Ops;
• Performing well architected framework reviews and cloud environment evaluations for Analytical Platforms; and
• Building Infrastructure Automation using Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation, and Python.

Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

• Performing AI/ML platform deployment, configuration, and maintenance; and
• Architecting and delivering enterprise AI/ML applications on cloud platforms and transforming legacy applications into cloud-native applications.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
