Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Job Summary Receives and documents the coordination of trips timely, accurately, legibly and complete. Essential Functions All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference Receives and documents patient transportation reports. Dispatches all transport trips in an acceptable time frame. Modifies employee zones in the Patient Tracking, as necessary Keeps dispatch office organized and efficient. Ensures staff is focused on the patient flow at all times. Performs dispatching duties with telephone etiquette Transports when necessary Attends Inservice and Staff meetings Performs other duties as assigned. Supervisory/Management Responsibilities This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive. Minimum Requirements Education - High School diploma or equivalent OR post-high school diploma/highest degree earned Experience - One (1) year of experience doing patient transportation in a hospital setting In Lieu Of N/A Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses N/A Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Working knowledge of telephone/telephone operations Working knowledge of Patient Tracking system. Knows all policies and procedures of Central Patient Transport.
