Job Title: Human Resources Benefits Specialist Summary of Duties and Responsibilities In your role, you will perform a variety of task related to benefits renewals, benefits administration, wellness planning, and benefit statements. Participation in team initiatives relating to payroll, FMLA, and corporate program administration. What You'll Do: A Day in the Life - In this fast-paced work environment, the customer experience and accuracy is of upmost importance. You will juggle multiple priorities with confidence and will be responsible for completing the benefits reporting and billing requirements for the Payroll and Benefits group. You will also be cross-functional on payroll change processing. In this position, you will work with all levels of employees and managers on their employee benefit related needs, including open enrollment processing and auditing. You will participate in the reporting function in ADP to audit participation in benefits, wellness and other programs. In addition, you will participate in the maintenance of other HR functions, such as FMLA, Short and Long Term Disability, Safe Act, benefit statements, and pandemic related initiatives. What it Takes:
- Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or
equivalent experience - 2-3 Years of Human Resources experience
- HRIS benefits and reporting experience
- Intermediate competence in Excel and Word applications.
- Ability to: Take initiative, adapt to business needs, think
critically, maintain confidentiality, communicate effectively (written and verbal), partner with others to solve problems, work with speed and accuracy, work independently and as a team member, maintain poise, tactfulness and overall respectful behaviors. - Skills in: planning and organizing while managing multiple
priorities, assessing and analyzing data, managing projects in various stages of completion, clarifying, explaining, listening, and coaching others.
