Position will be posted until filled.

You'll be part of the Cloud Operations Team working primarily for enterprise stakeholders with a strong focus in an Azure environment. You will get experience from enterprise initiatives, and you can help support our cloud based infrastructure.

You will have the possibility to:

  • Design, implement and migrate environments
  • Build cloud solutions in the Microsoft Azure cloud
  • Contribute to architecture and infrastructure designs
  • Write automation code (IaC) and developing CI/CD pipelines
  • Learn and apply new cloud technologies
  • Build your career as a Cloud expert in Microsoft Azure technologies with possibility to gain relevant Microsoft Azure certifications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Participate on a team that evaluates, responds to, and resolves service issues; design tools and automation to prevent problem recurrence.
  • Work on security-related aspects of the infrastructure, including standards relevant to our industry.
  • Work with architects, engineers, and developers within the team and cross teams to maintain the cloud (Azure) infrastructure.
  • Deliver technical innovation and efficiency in cloud operations via automation and orchestration.
  • Create and maintain automated monitoring and reporting of cloud infrastructure health, performance and cost control.
  • Participate in the monitoring, updating, optimization, redundancy, and stability of cloud systems.
  • Experience with and knowledge of Windows Server and Linux Operating System.
  • SQL and database experience is a major asset.
  • Participate in any project deemed necessary by the organization to implement, support, and improve cloud operations.
  • Promote the company culture.
  • Named and Senior Level expected to participate in duties at all levels as business needs require to ensure the best stakeholder experience.

LEVELS OF SUPERVISION EXERCISED AND RECEIVED:

Works under general direction of the Cloud Operations Lead, exercises no supervision of people.

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Responsible for engineering and operating and administering cloud services (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
  • Comfortable with some peer mentoring and leading.
  • Provide opinions and insights for improvement.
  • Typically, 2 to 3 years' experience in the field.
  • Intermediate knowledge of cloud networking.
  • Participates in project driven proactive work.
  • Uses their technical expertise and works more independently.
  • Responds to events such as outages or issues, works on a queue of tasks such as a ticket queue or request for configuration changes.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have the ability to perform basic office tasks and work in a typical office setting. Employee will be sitting for extended periods of time and accomplishing work at a desk and work at a computer for an extended period. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to adequately convey ideas and work well with a team. Ability to talk and hear, sit and use their hands and fingers, and reach in all directions is essential in performance of the job. Some lifting and moving of items up to 25 pounds required. Work during established business hours and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Travel required.

FULL-TIME REMOTE: These roles and job functions can be done remotely, while maintaining our strong commitment to customer service and our business goals. Employees are welcome to come to an office to work if needed, and some travel for team meetings will be required.

PAY RANGE:

Minimum $82,556.24 - Max $132,089.99 Annual

This range is reflective of the national salary average for this position and will be adjusted using geographic variance for physical location of the hired candidate. American AgCredit may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.
