Job Description

The Inventory Control Coordinator is primarily responsible for ordering and maintaining physical counts of companyowned, supplier owned and customer owned inventory items. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor who will make work assignments on a daily or weekly basis. Candidate will ensure customer expectations are exceeded with regard to timely production, accuracy of inventory and proper record keeping. Candidate must have good communication and analytical skills to ensure that all customer products are maintained and utilized accurately. Additional responsibilities may include performing documentation and/or material pull audits, posting transactions for materials in the ERP system and or performing other clerical or warehouse tasks as required.

  1. Monitor all inventory locations and ensure that the information is captured in all proper inventory tracking systems.
  2. Complete necessary documentation and coordination thoroughly, accurately, and on time for all things incoming and outgoing.
  3. Studies production schedules and operational activity to estimate supply needs and communicates with supplying agencies on ensuring timely delivery.
  4. Communicates with customer support representatives on inventory control and stock maintenance.
  5. Recommends measures to improve Inventory Control functions, material flow, equipment performance, and quality of work product.
  6. Assist in the plan to deliver inventory accuracy targets for quantity, value and location.
  7. Participate in and satisfactorily complete all required training programs for the assigned position.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by management representatives within the scope of responsibility and the requirements of the job.

Drive processes to minimize return of Production overages including working with key stakeholders to enhance processes and materials flow and measured by Key Performance Indicators in the Inventory Control Area and at the site level


Qualifications
  • Associates Degree, or Inventory Control Experience of at least 3 years
  • Hands-on experience with operating systems such as Microsoft Excel, Word, windows, and other systems
  • Willing to work Over-Time hours when needed, including weekends
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus, but not required
  • Experience with operation of forklift
  • Team player with ambition to become a Team Lead or beyond

Additional Information

Therate of pay for this role at the noted location is $20 / hour. In addition to base pay, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in pay, and stand-by pay.
