Overview
Greets customers in a professional manner. Assists pharmacist (under direct supervision) with filling new and refill prescriptions. Processes and enters patient demographic and insurance information into the computer system accurately. Answers and forwards phone messages properly. Orders and restocks inventory and supplies. Maintains perpetual inventory in pharmacy software system. Provides general maintenance of stock area; includes cleaning and dusting shelves, and monitoring expiration dates on inventory. Accurately enters sales into cash register and asks for ID when needed. Accurately prepares daily bank deposit. Flexible schedule. Performs other duties as assigned under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities
