THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

An employee in this position performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks assisting mechanics with their duties. Work involves general building maintenance such as cleaning restrooms, offices, conference room, lunchroom, foyers and garage areas. Also, the employee is responsible for trash collection, dusting furniture and fixtures, sweeping, washing floors, vacuuming, and washing windows.

In this position, the employee performs general yard maintenance such as keeping the yard clean and orderly, cutting grass and weeds, snow removal from sidewalks and parking area, and maintaining the scrap tires area. The employee assists mechanics with light mechanical repairs such as lube, oil change, repair lights, tire mounting, and other tasks on light and heavy-duty vehicles as needed. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Possible winter hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
