Custodial Worker 1 - Ebensburg Center

In this position, you will maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the Ebensburg Center. Your efforts will contribute to a pleasant and welcoming environment for everyone who uses our facilities. In this position, you will undertake a variety of standard or sterile cleaning and sanitation responsibilities. Your duties will include cleaning facilities; collecting waste and recyclable items; and utilizing and maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment. You will independently carry out your daily custodial tasks, although your work may be inspected during or after completion to ensure compliance with established cleanliness standards. Comprehensive supervisory guidance and evaluation will be available for new or unusual situations and any modifications to operating procedures.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Sunday through Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Work schedule will rotate, one weekend a month and holidays as assigned.
• This position may require overtime and travel.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
  • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
