Position Summary:

Responsible for developing logistic strategies to optimize product repair and delivery to customers. Enhances product workflow by analyzing logistics-related data and developing logistics plans associated with repair, production, distribution, and inventory. Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction, minimize cost, and ensure appropriate pricing strategies. Operates across multiple functions and interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers.

This is a full-time position in which the candidate can work remotely. Occasional travel up to 25% of the time may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary Focus is to optimize customer or end user operational readiness/availability through:

    • Analyzing the following:

      • contractual documents

      • technical data

      • customer usage data

      • customer maintenance practices and operation characteristics

    • Use above analysis to determine spares provisioning, maintenance/repair requirements, pricing strategies, and overall optimum logistical support structure

  • Develops logistics plans in order to optimize repair turnaround times (RTAT) and overall enhance distribution of goods and supplies.

  • Identifies, prioritizes, and assesses key logistics assets and infrastructures.

  • Assists in the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.

  • Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.

  • Other duties may be assigned

GENERAL:

  • Provide Integrated Logistics Support as required- helps develop, or recommends, a support concept; and provides "support products" e.g. manuals, training, provisioning data, etc., associated with that concept.

  • Follow established ILS development processes

  • Expected to be a participant in Process Improvement activities including process generation, checklists and data analysis.

  • Prepares technical status reports, as required.

  • Prepare Integrated Logistics Support Plan.

  • Perform spares analysis

  • Working with the Program team, may provide direct customer interface including technical presentations, Engineering Coordination Memos, telecoms, formal reviews, etc.

  • Develop and provide metrics to Program Management, and other functional organizations as appropriate and necessary. This may include Technical Performance Metrics, Earned Value, process adherence, etc.

  • Performs project planning and monitoring using MS Project, MS Excel etc.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Security clearance, or ability to attain a clearance, highly preferred

  • Strong leadership and time management skills; ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment.

  • Implement own recommendations and see projects through to completion.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to processes increasing efficiency.

  • Conduct meetings to negotiate, explain, persuade, or present information.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting information to Sr. Leadership teams.

  • React quickly to day-to-day problems with timely solutions.

  • Ability to make decisions fast and under pressure.

  • Have good reading vision, hearing perception, able to speak clearly, fine motor skills.

  • Effective team leader with ability to collaborate across organizational and functional boundaries

Required Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Supply Chain Management, or Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Logistics Certification Level 2 or higher, or a member with experience and logistical management certifications - APICS or other certifying agency recognized by The Association for Supply Chain Management

Experience: 5+Years of related analytical logistics experience, A&D Industry experience preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$91,955 - $161,713

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
