Scope:

The Inventory Control Supervisor oversees the staffing, training, development and performance assessment for Inventory Control personnel to achieve specific department goals. They interface with many support departments at all levels of the organization including engineering, production and finance. This position is accountable for team supervision including hiring, performance reviews, terminations, new personnel training and related documentation. The Inventory Control Supervisor is also responsible for the documentation of internal processes and procedures and for allocating assigned resources to meet department goals.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide the technical training of department staff and maintain the training program.

  • Analyze and correct Inventory discrepancies. Help provide root cause / corrective actions.

  • Provide and coordinate technical assistance for department personnel.

  • Organize and monitor work for maximum efficiency, productivity and quality to assure high quality and timely service to all internal and external customers.

  • Lead cross functional teams for the purpose of implementing improvements to Inventory control processes.

  • Make sure the department complies with all department and corporate policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety, security, ESD and OSHA guidelines.

  • Provide training and assistance to external Inventory storage areas to insure accurate Inventory balances and the timely movement of material.

  • Lead department meetings; establish, maintain and distribute relevant metrics to monitor the effectiveness of key department processes (stock room, shipping/receiving, cycle counting).

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • In depth knowledge of Inventory control systems, ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root cause and implement corrective action.

  • Familiar with 6S continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and internal systems).

  • Ability to communicate and interface with employees to resolve problems.

  • Ability to lead cross functional teams and supervise multiple disciplines.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

  • Oracle operating systems is a bonus.

Education and Experience:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education: Associates Degree

Experience

Minimum 5 years related experience or 3 years with Associates Degree.

Experience supervising teams/departments.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$51,052 - $85,087

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
