Job Purpose Mechanical/Project Engineering Summer Intern reporting to the Project Engineering Manager at the EnerSys manufacturing facility in Warrensburg, MO. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The candidate will have the opportunity to be a part of the mechanical design and project management group for the summer of 2025. Responsibilities include: 1. Learning and helping manage drawing document control 2. Generating drawing updates and revisions at the supervision of other engineers 3. Data collection Taking dimensions of parts and reverse engineering Time studies and machine cycle times Machine monitor for anomalies while running 4. Assisting Process engineering group with above functions as well Qualifications Basic Qualifications Candidate shouldbe a graduate student or enrolled in undergraduate program pursuing an engineering related degree. The candidate should have an outstanding academic record, excellent organizational, interpersonal communication and written skills, strong quantitative and computer skills. General Job Requirements This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
