Senior Database Analyst, IS Enterprise Services, Hybrid (KY/IN Residents Only)

Under general direction, designs, implements, and maintains complex databases with respect to access methods, access times, device allocation, validation checks, organization, performance tuning, security, documentation and statistical methods. Includes maintenance of database dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures and integration of systems through database design Possess excellent knowledge and understanding of database internals and performance tuning. Competent to work on all aspects of database administration involving OLTP and OLAP (data warehouse) databases.Perform database design, maintenance, and performance tuning and disaster recovery. Provide leadership towards installation/configuration, upgrade, maintenance, performance management and ongoing support of EMR databases (e.g. Epic Clarity, Epic Cogito Data Warehouse)Define and document the conceptual/abstract building blocks that lead to comprehensive system level data architecture. Work closely with business analysts to model the business processes and define and develop system level data architecture.

**This position has the opportunity to be a hybrid position. You will be asked to complete training at a Norton Healthcare facility and must be able to come in for business purposes. Employees in this role must reside in Kentucky or Indiana**

Required:

• With Required Bachelors Degree: Three years of experience in the development of database/data warehouse/data mart solutions. Without Required Bachelors Degree: 7 years in the development of database/data warehouse/data mart solutions
