Location: Raleigh, NC | Hybrid - 3 days per week at the company's facilities, remote work up to 2 days per week after the initial 6-month on-site training period.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay range: $28-$31/HR

Company Overview: Our client is a major energy company that provides reliable power solutions to communities across the region. They are focused on delivering exceptional service and improving infrastructure in their service areas.

Job Description: We are seeking a Contract Administrator to join the Power Grid Operations (PGO) Highway Relocation Program team. This program is responsible for relocating power grid facilities impacted by infrastructure and road improvement projects in both North and South Carolina. In this role, you will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, as well as external agencies such as state transportation departments and local municipalities, to develop and implement relocation agreements and ensure project compliance.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Set up projects in Maximo and PeopleSoft.
  • Manage communications with external government agencies and customers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to prepare Utility Relocation Agreement packages.
  • Assist in preparing variance explanations and scope change documents.
  • Run financial reports in Power Plan and generate billing in PeopleSoft.
  • Track and resolve collections while maintaining financial reports and document retention.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and take initiative.
  • Analytical skills for billing and cost management.
  • Experience with enterprise-level database systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe Pro.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
