Description

Primary Purpose:

Develops, implements, and manages Wealth Management/Trust Compliance. Executes process improvements and effectively leads departmental changes. Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures, federal and state regulatory requirements. Maintains a professional image through all levels of communication.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

* Communicate new regulatory information and reinforce existing policies to employees. * Advise management concerning compliance issues.

* Maintain and update Cadence Wealth Management/Trust Policies and Procedures. * Preparation of documentation for internal audits and trust targets.

* Respond to requests from regulators, and internal/external auditors during audits and examinations.

* Work under minimal supervision and from detailed verbal and/or written instructions. * Applies advanced skills in areas of specialization. Utilizes multiple compliance resources (seminars, computer-based training, conferences and manuals) to maintain the highest level of understanding of changes in the regulatory environment.

* Preparation of Schedule RC-T for call report

* Employee Training

* Reporting for Trust Working and Financial Services Committee, and Trust and Financial Service Committee

* DocuSign liaison for AM&T

* OnBase liaison for AM&T

* Creates and maintains all forms for department use (new account packets, distribution forms, etc.)

* Maintains AM&T department website

* Maintains New Account OnBoarding templates

* Assists in Policy & Procedure

* Various project coordination

* Assists with gathering request list items and fielding questions during regulatory exams and internal audits

Job Specifications:

* Minimum of seven years in financial compliance, audit or trust operations.

* Knowledge of Federal and State compliance laws, rules, regulations, and procedures. * Exceptional work ethic, integrity, team spirit and judgment.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to employees, business partners and management.

* Willingness to obtain Certified Fiduciary & Investment Risk Specialist (CFIRS) designation.

Job Description

* Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office programs or comparable.
