Job Summary
Seeking an undergraduate student who is interested in Genetics. Approximately 10 hours a week.
Essential Functions
*Maintain lab inventory, order supplies, and track receipts
*Perform routine fly husbandry, including stock maintenance and
microscopy
*Assist with molecular genetics assays
*Keep the lab clean, organized, and well-maintained
*Support ongoing research projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications
*Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
*Ability to work independently and follow protocols
*Interest in genetics and laboratory research (previous experience
is a plus but not required)
*Student pursuing a genetics (or related) degree
Preferred Qualifications
Candidate can commit to a minimum of 2 semesters of employment.
Pay Rate $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
