Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Review Clerk to join our growing team.

**Remote U.S. and preferred candidates in CST and EST time zones"

Job Summary:

The Review clerk will contribute to our clerical operations with precision and efficiency,

showcasing strong data entry skills and acute attention to detail. The Review Clerk will have a

collaborative approach in a team environment, along with proficiency in database management,

which is crucial for the seamless flow of our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily interactions with both external and internal customers.
  • Ensure that all review requests and reports are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Scan incoming faxed documents into the appropriate medical records and establish records in the review system.
  • Provide courteous and prompt service to all internal and external customers.
  • Submit the evidence packet in compliance with contract timeliness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service and work processes.
  • Assist in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience with Microsoft products.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or higher degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other applications in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise in image processing and form recognition.
  • Aptitude to work effectively in a team environment.
