The Software Engineer II will be joining the Gladiator Product and Development team that creates and maintains software solutions for financial institutions. This Engineer would join a highly efficient, close knit Agile team that designs, implements, and supports new and existing solutions and services. This individual will be an integral part of creating, implementing, and supporting various production services, so strong communication skills are a must.

The ideal candidate will have a growth mentality, be self-motivated, curious, and able to quickly adapt to new environments and technologies and assist team members in doing the same. We are searching for someone with a strong understanding of C#, .Net, and SQL, who is ready to learn and grow with our team.

This position may be worked remotely within the United States.

The salary range for this position is $64,850- $110,000 and will be determined based on[HR2] location and experience level.

You will be required to travel up to 5% for trainings, meetings of conferences.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Participates in product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.
  • May perform system analysis and programming activities which may require research and timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production.
  • With assistance, provides technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application.
  • With assistance, tests applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Uses best practices and standard guidance to create and modify routine, low impact code.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • May participate in critical tasks and deliverables with assistance, and sets and updates expectations on size, scope, and timelines.
  • Adheres to documented departmental and corporate standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Conducts unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of developed software. Debug and troubleshoot issues as they arise, providing timely resolutions.

What you'll need to have:

  • 3 years of software engineering related experience[HR3] .
  • Experience in C#, .NET, JSON, and SQL.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge in cloud-based technologies such as Kubernetes, GCP or Azure
  • Experience with support applications for .Net, including GitHub, Visual Studio, Postman, Swagger
  • Experience in Agile/ Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with Angular.
