Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an experienced Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resources team in either Mobile, AL, or Herndon, VA.

Meet the Team:

The Engineering Center in Mobile, Alabama houses hundreds of Airbus engineers who assist in the design and development of Airbus commercial aircraft cabins, including aftermarket upgrades, reconfigurations and services of all product types across the globe.

Your Challenges:
  • We need someone with a strong analytical background who enjoys and has a desire to work with numbers. Google sheets, data presentation, and data analytics experience is highly preferred.
  • We would like to see that you have experience with Workday, merit bonus and compensation modules
  • This is not an entry level position so it is imperative that you have experience with compensation, and it is imperative that you have experience working in an HR department
  • Having experience with Willis Towers Watson will be looked upon quite favorably
Your Boarding Pass:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Finance, Economics or related field, required.
  • Minimum of 6+ years recent and progressive Human Resources experience, required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Compensation experience including a focus on analysis, design and/or administration of compensation programs, required
  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. employment, wage and hour, and compensation laws and regulations.
Physical Requirements:
  • Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens,
  • Able to read documents and reports
  • Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in-person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms.
  • Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.
  • Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment
  • Carrying: able to carry documents, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
  • Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
  • Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools.
  • Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer.
  • Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
  • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor.
  • Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice.
  • Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
