We Require
One year of experience performing clerical duties High school diploma or GED A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis

Organize case files for close-out and storage, enter case disposition and close-out information into the Maricopa County Attorney's Office internal database Enter and retrieve case information from various databases, including Motor Vehicle Department, justice court database, and superior court database Pull case files for court calendar and file documents with the court Perform criminal history/criminal records checks and bureau-specific data entry Maintain a current terminal operator certification with the Department of Public Safety Provide reception relief/coverage, answer multi-line telephone, answer general information questions, transfer calls, and take messages Review the electronic minute entry folder, retrieve and distribute electronic pleadings and minute entries Update discovery log, upload discovery, type subpoenas, and scan documents
Working Conditions
Mostly office setting in high volume, fast-paced environment Requires long periods of sitting while completing computer activities Ability to travel to and from various county locations for meetings and trainings, utilizing personal or county vehicle Ability to lift boxes and pull mailcart weighing 25 - 40 pounds A hybrid or alternative work schedule can be considered after your first 6 months of employment. This is based on the business needs at the time of the request
