Vaco is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a leadingconsumer goods organizationfor astrategic sourcing professionalto overseeexternal manufacturing partnerships. The exact client details will be shared with shortlisted candidates.

Location:

• Hybrid role requiring candidates to be based in theGreater Boston or Plano, TX area.
• Due to immediate hiring needs,relocation assistance is not available. Candidates must already be within acommutable distanceto be considered.

Position Type:

• 1+ Year Contract with potential for contract-to-hire(No C2C, No 1099).
• Pay Rate:$60-65/HR W2 (Consultant for Vaco, no third-party candidates).

Overview:

As a key leader inprocurement and supply chain management, theSr. Manager, Procurement & Supplier Partnershipswill drivestrategic supplier partnershipswith third-party manufacturers. This role is critical in optimizing sourcing strategies, enhancing supplier performance, and ensuring operational efficiency within theconsumer goods industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management:

• Develop and executesourcing strategiesto optimizeexternal manufacturingpartnerships.
• Aligncategory strategieswith business objectives to drivecost savings, risk mitigation, and growth.
• Lead thefull supplier lifecycle, fromidentification and onboarding to performance optimization.

Supplier Development & Performance Optimization:

• Build and maintainlong-term strategic partnershipswiththird-party manufacturers.
• EstablishKPIs to measure supplier compliancewith contractual agreements.
• Act as theprimary liaison between internal teams and external partners.

Financial Oversight & Cost Management:

• Managebudgeting, forecasting, and financial planningrelated to external manufacturing expenses.
• Implementcost-saving initiativeswhile maintaining high-quality production standards.
• Work closely withfinance teamsto monitor and control supplier-related costs.

Contract Negotiation & Compliance:

• Negotiate contracts and supplier agreementsto ensure clear roles and expectations.
• Leadsupplier compliance efforts, includingethical sourcing, sustainability, and risk management.
• Conductquarterly supplier business reviewsto monitor contract performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degreein Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
• 5+ yearsof experience inprocurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier management, must be withinconsumer goods (CPG), food & beverage manufacturing
• Strongnegotiation and supplier managementskills, with a track record of securingcost-effective agreements.
• Ability tobuild and maintain key partnershipswith suppliers and internal teams.
• Experience withsupplier evaluation, risk assessment, and contract management.
• Strongfinancial acumen and analytical skillsto optimize supplier costs.
• Ability tothrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organizationand manage multiple priorities.

Travel Requirements:

• Up to 20% travelto visit supplier sites and collaborate with internal teams.
