As the Licensed Psychologist Manager for SCI Dallas, you will take charge of planning, organizing, and directing the psychological services program within the institution. You will expertly coordinate the psychological services program alongside other disciplines while developing and implementing new policies and procedures for existing programs. In your leadership role, you will chair the population psychiatric review team and contribute as a key member of the clinical review team focused on suicides and attempted suicides. Your responsibilities will also include consulting with psychiatry and medical staff and conducting comprehensive psychological testing and evaluations of inmates.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment; 37.5 hour work week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, mental retardation or behavioral dysfunction.

Special Requirements:

• You must be in possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board. Applicants with out-of-state licensure must obtain Pennsylvania licensure within one year of employment.
