Production Technician Lead

Join us as a Production Lead in our Ashland facility.

You will be a working Lead in the Foundry and helping lead your team in the molding and core making area and provide continuing training.

More details about the opportunity:

• Leading your team in molding and core making in the foundry, and eventually help in other areas of the foundry when needed.
• Responsible for employee timecards, disciplinary actions, create production schedules and sign off for attendance etc.
• Doing inventory of your product
• Interpret and enforce company policies to employees and lead and participate in Kaizens to improve processes.
• Understand and promote safety policies and procedures.
• Lead and participate in Kaizens to improve processes

Key Qualifications:

• Must have past lead experience or worked 5+ years in the same position and able to understand and take initiative to lead and guide a team
• Must have prior manufacturing experience
• Understand Lean Manufacturing is a plus

Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!):

5:30am-4:00pm Monday through Thursday with OT on off days

Physical Requirements:

Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs.

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $24 to $26/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
