Overview

Take ownership of high fidelity end-to-end models & simulations for various phased array and radar applications; develop and integrate signal processing functions and conduct sub-system trade studies; guide system architecture design decisions and define requirements on proposals; apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the development life cycle to support the generation of products using Radio Frequency (RF) and digital applications.


Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design RF Circuits using simulation tools, generate BOM, and identify necessary equipment and components to perform test
  • Fluent in PCB layout SW, be able to reivew PCB Designs and guide layout designer's efforts
  • Tune and troubleshoot RF Circuits to meet spec requirement in self-guided manner
  • Train and give technical guidance to Junior Engineers and Technicians
  • Perform technical analysis and feasibility studies for product design updates, new product introduction, and production proposals, including generating production readiness assessments and cost/technical proposals
  • Provide Engineering support for existing units in production
  • Assist Product transition from Engineering to Manufacturing, including writing Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and supporting assembly of RF Circuits

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Five (5) years of related experience in RF/Microwave Engineering with standard modeling and design tools
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five (5) to seven (7) years work experience with RF receivers, transmitters and/or filtering designs; knowledge of modulation techniques; antennas; correlation; or signal processing
  • Experience with design tools such as: ADS, Microwave Office, Ansys HFSS
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills to interface with key internal and external customers, i.e., executives, military officers, government officials, etc.
  • Exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness to design and deliver highly advanced solutions

Salary Range: Radio Frequency Engineer III: $113,049.19 - $ 169,573.79 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
