SMT Machine Operator

Job Description:

• Receive incoming stock and verify against documentation for accuracy of quantity and part numbers and description and/or arranges for storing of received material in a neat and orderly arrangement onto shelves, racks, or specified floor locations.
• Enter inventory and accounts payable information into database.
• Process electronic component kits for the production floor.
• Issue replacement parts for the production floor.
• Perform inventory transactions in ERP/MRP system.
• Count and restock material returned from the production floor.
• Perform Cycle Counting of electronic components.
• Proper handling of moisture sensitive components (desiccants, indicators, baking, sealing)
• Communicates with production planners on filling shortages, pulling kits and resolving problems to keep parts and kits flowing to the production floor in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
