We are seeking a skilled Production Control/Demand Planner to join our engineering department.
The Production Control/Demand Planner is responsible for developing and optimizing production and prototyping plans that align with company goals, client demand, capacity constraints and ensures efficient utilization of resources and maintaining supply chain integrity.
As a Production Control/Demand Planner for CTC, you carry the responsibility to generate and implement the planning that secures a high level of delivery reliability for our internal & external customers.
In addition, you will drive improvement projects to industrialize further our planning framework.
Collaboration with Production/Prototyping Leads, Supply Chain and Quality Control is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly review work scope to understand customer deliverables.
- Monitors and adjusts resource allocation to optimize production/prototyping efficiency including labor, equipment, and materials.
- Coordinate with other department associates/supervisors to ensure resources are available to complete tasks on time.
- Participate in production/prototyping planning meetings and highlight critical path items.
- Prepare work-around plans to surge capacity and expedited delivery demands.
- Make recommendations to management on process improvements.
- Creates, maintains and releases production orders to support the manufacturing shop floor.
- Implement and maintain production control processes to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
- Generate reports on production performance, inventory levels, and demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and adjust production plans accordingly.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement of materials to support production schedules.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of products.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or Supply Chain related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in production management and planning.
- Proven experience in production planning, inventory control, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in using production planning software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.
