Enterprise Technical Assistance Services, Inc. (ETAS), is a wholly owned subsidiary of Professional Project Services, Inc. (Pro2Serve). ETAS was formed and dedicated to support the Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office (PPPO) with technical and management services contributing to the safe and cost-effective implementation of the "One PPPO" mission.

The parent company, Pro2Serve, is a nationally recognized environmental, technical, and engineering services firm dedicated to providing critical environmental management services to reduce the Nation's environmental liabilities and infrastructure engineering services in support of our Nation's security. We support the energy, defense, and science markets through responsive, cost-effective execution of critical environmental, facilities and infrastructure, and nuclear defense and nonproliferation projects.

Job Description

The position will support PPPO's electronic records inventory cleanup project through routine and repetitive tasks, including transferring electronic records from the existing inventory drive to Microsoft SharePoint or disposing of certain records, as applicable. The position will involve determining whether an electronic document is an official record pursuant to NARA standards and, if so, filing it in the official records. The position will report to the Records and Document Control Manager.

Primary duties and responsibilities include:

  • Support PPPO's records digitization project.
  • Search Microsoft SharePoint for existing electronic copies of documents and/or records.
  • Upload records and apply appropriate metadata in Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Ensure metadata is free of spelling and other errors.
  • Update file codes in accordance with the new NARA requirements.
  • Update inventory tracking database to ensure current status of record collection.
  • Track and report performance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant discipline and five years' relevant experience or ten years' of relevant experience.
  • DOE Experience in supporting D&D, D&R, S&M, Infrastructure and operations activities
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with database management
  • Experience in office administration (e.g., planning meetings, handling security and travel arrangements, and invoicing, etc.)
  • Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Possesses or able to obtain a DOE "Q" clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
  • DOE Records Management experience
  • Knowledge of Federal laws and DOE regulations for the management of federal records.
  • Experience in lifecycle records management (i.e., creation, maintenance and use, disposition) regardless of media type
  • Experience in creating and maintaining records inventories and file plans.
  • Familiarity with Gimmal software
  • Familiarity with Office 365 retention policies
  • Experience with database systems

This position may require reviews and tests for the absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government, in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and may require subsequent reinvestigations.
