Job # OC25016 Job Title Human Resources Coordinator Office Location Roanoke, VA Business Function/Department Human Resources Sales Territory, if applicable N/A General Role Description Provide a full range of effective administrative and operational HR services Role Accountabilities - Maintain the job description database, coordinating with other HR team members and managers to ensure current and accurate alignment of descriptions and incumbents - Post job opportunities on the Company's and third-party platforms, ensuring accurate and timely posting and consistent branding - Coordinate candidate interview logistics - Conduct reference checks of selected candidates for employment, record and report results - Submit, monitor, and report on pre-employment background investigations and drug and alcohol screenings - Prepare documents and presentations for internal and external communication - Provide general administrative services for HR operations and initiatives, as requested - Ensure thorough, accurate, secure, confidential, and legally compliant employee data and records through full life cycle of employment - Review new employee documentation, validate, and ensure completion and accuracy, escalating as necessary - Enter and maintain thorough, accurate and timely updates to assigned activities in the recruiting technology platforms - Provide input to HR systems and upgrades - Identify and recommend viable, new and enhanced HR administrative and operational processes for increased productivity and cost effectiveness - Coordinate assigned elements of employee engagement initiatives General Employee Accountabilities - Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager - Give manager best advice - Give earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified - Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager - Exemplify Company Core Values: Integrity, Client Focus, Team Orientation, and Personal Commitment - Comply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and laws - Recommend viable improvements proactively - Ensure effective utilization of business tools and processes Minimum Qualifications - Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent via education and/or work experience - 2 years' experience of HR administrative experience - Demonstrated knowledge of applicable legislation and regulatory guidelines, and their impact on HR and other business processes - Demonstrated knowledge and application of HR operational policies, procedures, and practices - Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility - Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts - Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills - Proficiency in MS Office - Working knowledge of an HRMS - Availability to travel, domestically, less than 10% Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated knowledge and application of HR operational policies, procedures, and practices related to all HR functions - Demonstrated success in human resource functional accountability for global, high growth, engineering services organization or industry served by the Company - Demonstrated experience supporting diverse employee base spanning multiple geographic locations, domestically and internationally, in best-in-class environment - Demonstrated experience in internet sourcing and use of networking systems and tools, and applicant tracking software - Experience with Requisite Organization principles Link to TMEIC Corporation Americas website: https://www.tmeic.com/.
