Baker College of Owosso is seeking to fill an Adjunct Faculty position for an Electrical & Machine Maintenance Instructor at the Auto/Diesel Institute at Baker College of Owosso!

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with an Associate's degree or vocational training in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or a related field preferred. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of proven experience in machine maintenance, repair, or a similar technical field. A strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various machinery and systems, such as CNC machines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, PLCs, and electrical schematics, are essential. Previous experience in teaching or instructing is highly desirable. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students by delivering courses in alignment with the Faculty Workload Policy and the Baker College Learning Model. You'll bring creativity and innovation to the classroom, leveraging cutting-edge learning technologies to help students achieve their academic goals. Your passion for teaching may also extend into shaping the curriculum by suggesting enhancements as part of our continuous improvement efforts. You'll actively assess student learning, provide meaningful feedback, and support their progress. Additionally, you will contribute to the academic community through the Faculty Growth and Evaluation Process. You may also participate in committees, projects, initiatives, and opportunities that drive education excellence and support your professional development.
