The successful candidate will reside within 75 miles of our site due to on call requirements. Relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate. The Solar Plant Supervisor works hands on alongside their team and is responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the solar generation facilities. This position is working hands on, manages the operational and administrative needs and functions of the solar facilities. As the top-level leader on site, you will ensure Enbridge values and expectations are properly applied on site and managed effectively. The supervisor will lead the application of Enbridge's Safety Management System and ensure the safety of all staff, contractors, and equipment on site. They will promote a safety-first approach and foster a positive safety environment ensuring timely and accurate reporting of safety metrics and incidents. What You Will Do:
Role requires a valid Driver's License, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire and ability to obtain a Passport. Role will require being on-call (24/7) to respond to emergencies and/or maintenance needs of the site (on a pre-determined, scheduled basis). Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 50 pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects 50 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement. Must meet requirements of fit for work which includes, but is not limited to, demonstrating hand, arm, back and leg coordination needed to ascend and descend a wind tower and complying with a weight restriction of 132 kg (or 290lb) total climbing weight. Comfort working in enclosed spaces and at heights of 300 ft. Employee understands that these requirements may be modified at the Company's discretion.
