ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Entry level position
  • Design and draw/3D model tools based on customer provided prints.
  • Test and assemble tooling to provide customer with sample piece.
  • Communication with our off-site Tooling Order desk and sales team.
  • Data entry and some clerical duties.
  • Blueprint reading and 3D model manipulation.


KNOWLEDGE:



  • 2 year degree in drafting or engineering related field/CAD certificate program also accepted.
  • Creo 3D modeling software or equivalent a plus.
  • 2D CAD (Auto CAD equivalent) a plus.
  • Microsoft Word/Excel experience.


SKILLS:



  • Good communication skills with ability to work well with others.
  • Must be able to handle quick deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint or technical drawings.


JOB TYPE: Full-time

PAY: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:



  • Hands on inspection & assembly of tooling
  • Testing of tools requires occasional lifting: Average weight 40-50 lbs.
