Product Manager - PreNatal - Enterprise

Myriad Genetics discovers, develops, and commercializes molecular genetic tests that determine the risk of developing disease, assess disease progression, and guide treatment decisions in Oncology, Women's Health, and Mental Health. We are seeking a Senior (SR) Product Manager to develop and drive the strategic direction for Myriad Genetics Prenatal products. The Sr Product Manager is responsible for establishing lifecycle strategies and product roadmaps for the Prenatal product portfolio. This includes leading cross-functional teams towards timely execution of key initiatives and feature enhancements for existing, pipeline, and new products; and ultimately driving portfolio performance and growth. This role combines strategic thinking with execution and requires strong leadership in cross-functional teams.

What you will do:



  • Own lifecycle management of Prenatal products, define product roadmaps, product requirements through collaboration with research and development (R&D) teams to deliver high-quality profitable products
  • Establish long-term vision devise and implement strategies focused on growing prenatal product portfolio market share, sales, and investment
  • Perform market analysis, continuously monitor market trends or drivers to advise strategic and tactical product development, prioritization, and commercialization
  • Build strong relationships, structure, and best practices for decision making with R&D, Marketing, Commercial, Regulatory/Compliance, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders
  • Partner with business unit executives to align business and technology strategies with business capability roadmaps
  • Leverage expertise and opinions of thought leaders, experts, KOLs, and customers to understand customer needs as it relates to developing strategy
  • Analyze and captures product performance, customer insights, and competitor market and translates findings into actionable product development, support, or enhancement initiatives
  • Identify potential product solutions and initiate actions to improve platform functionality, health, or user experience (UX) of prenatal portfolio
  • Define and prioritize the product backlog (a prioritized set of features) to deliver a whole, valuable product
  • Partner with R&D to prioritize programs and investment for prenatal portfolio
  • Collaborate with marketing, digital, and commercial teams to drive the overall product experience including go-to-market plans and launch initiatives
  • Partner with the digital team to help define a clear definition of deliverable business value for each team sprint, quarter, and release
  • Develop innovative new touch points that get the prenatal brand in front of consumers at the point of decision making
  • Oversee timelines and proper execution of ideas within fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Foster and manage third party relationships in the prenatal ecosystem
  • Drive prioritization of platform work based on key journey customers and/or other internal customers


Who You Are:



  • 6+ years in product management in biotech or other life sciences industry preferred
  • Bachelors' Degree required
  • Education or Work Experience in life sciences, technology, healthcare, molecular diagnostics, or biotech required
  • Experience driving products from bench science to commercialization and proven track record of successful product commercialization
  • Strong leadership experience including cross-functional leadership skills, technical knowledge, scientific knowledge, business acumen
  • Ability to influence across a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Experience identifying product and project stakeholders, strategic partners, and leading collaborative and dynamic cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing plans, and managing large scale projects to completion
  • Experience managing and leveraging partnerships and other 3rd party alliances
  • Experience in a regulated industry helpful (i.e. pharma, diagnostic testing, etc.)
  • Success managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills
  • Curiosity and drive
