Quality Engineer

Pay: $27+/hour (Based on experience)

Shift: Day Shift (Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate customer-specific qualification activities.
• Review new products for quality requirements.
• Ensure manufacturability and tolerance compliance through print reviews.
• Create and maintain quality documentation.
• Ensure consistency between in-process and itemized print documentation.
• Update inspection and control plans as needed.
• Liaise with customers on drawing issues and engineering changes.
• Conduct incoming and final inspections, and assist with on-floor inspections.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2-year technical degree in Quality Engineering or related field, or 2+ years of experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and math skills (geometry, trigonometry, metric-to-decimal conversion).
• Problem-solving abilities with minimal standardization.
• Effective communication across all employee levels.
• Experience with inspection instruments and practices.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Regular sitting, standing, walking, and reaching.
