Who We Are Looking For:

Our flagship United States mill located in St. Ansgar Iowa is looking for candidates wanting to make a change in their career in a variety of different areas. Due to business growth, we have created the new position of Industrial Packaging Specialist. This starts at $21.30 per hour plus a $1.50 shift premium for working overnights. This position includes operating a forklift and running automated packaging lines at one of the most technologically advanced oat mills in North America.

You will be responsible for running computer-based programing to control many pieces of packaging equipment making food products within a wide range of customer specifications. In addition to the computer and plc driven controls, packaging specialists make rounds checking many different pieces of equipment to ensure proper operation. You are also responsible for completing an array of quality assurance checks dependent on customer needs.

You will learn a variety of different jobs within our industrial packaging department and develop into a subject matter expert, being able to step in during absences and cover vacation and employee leave. When not covering jobs, your knowledge of the packaging systems will be utilized in updating and developing training programs, training new hires, and cross training other employees.
