Job Summary International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) has an exciting opportunity for an innovative HR professional to join the North America HR Team. This position will be based in the greater Gibson City, IL area, and support sites in Gibson City, IL, Remington, IN, Terre Haute, IN, Bellevue, OH and Rockland, ME (travel will be on an as needed basis). In this position, you will function as a trusted advisor, coach, and consultant to employees and business leaders in union and non-union environments, closely partnering with the business to improve their people leadership capability, team culture, talent pipeline and people development.

You will spend your time:
- Coordinating and implementing HR initiatives such as labor relations, performance and talent management, training & development, organizational design, and providing general HR and employee relations support for assigned organizations.
- Leading matters related to the labor contracts, including but not limited to grievance & arbitration processes, contract negotiations, and maintaining collaborative communication and working relationships with union officials.
- Maintaining a legally compliant workplace, responding to charges and complaints, and leading employee relations investigations.
- Partnering with Shared Services, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Total Rewards COEs by executing the organization's talent strategy including talent acquisitions, inclusion strategy, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, compensation & benefits, retention & recognition, and culture improvement. Ensuring compliance to global/local processes, adapting programs as necessary to client organization needs within defined program boundaries, and assisting leaders in implementing HR program changes at multiple locations.
- Providing counsel and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and related practices.
- Advancing leadership competencies through coaching, feedback, and training, partnering with leaders to foster a positive employee experience.
- Implementing changes in organizational structure, work design, team-based systems, and organizational communications.
- Leading and supporting process improvement efforts and other initiatives for improving organizational performance, including participating and leading special projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience that includes Labor/Employee Relations in unionized and non-unionized environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the National Labor Relations Act.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, engage, influence, impact change, think critically and lead strategic & transformational processes.
- Previous experience supporting multiple locations.
- Experience working with shared service models, Workday experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, including proficient writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding environment with high-level attention to details.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
