As a Life Sciences Sales Representative at STERIS, you will drive revenue for Contamination Control Products to theLife Sciencesindustry. This includes Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device, and Research Industries within the assigned sales territory. You will visit Customer sites, attendtrade shows, and staycurrent in the industry through networking, meetings, and reading related industry information. You will be responsible for providinghigh Customer satisfaction,establishing multi-level relationships with Customers, and utilizingcompany provided sales resources. You are tasked with maximizing sales outcomes while providing best solutions to the Customer. This is a remote based Customer facing position. To support and service our Customers in this assigned territory candidates must be based out of one of the following state: California What you will do as a Sales Representative Present, promote, and sell STERIS Life Science Consumable products to existing and prospective customers. Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and Customer relationships. Generate leads and qualify prospects. Expedite the resolution of Customer problems and complaints to maximize Customer satisfaction. Achieve sales targets and results within targeted time frame. Coordinate sales effort with team members to advance business growth. Analyze the territory/market potential and evaluate sales reports on a routine basis. Update and maintain sales tools regarding territory business and competitive activities as well as potential for new products. Keep informed of best practices and industry trends including participation trade shows. Negotiate to achieve agreements that provide a mutually acceptable solution to STERIS and the Customer. The Experience, Skills & Abilities Needed Required Bachelor's degree Ability to travel up to 35-40% Preferred Minimum of three years of experience in the BioPharma industry highly preferred Experience in validation, quality, technical services, or pharmaceutical manufacturing Experience with technical products/services Experience in consultative selling General knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Biotechnology Manufacturing, and Medical Device industries What STERIS Offers: We value our employees and are committed to providing a comprehensive benefits package that supports your health, well-being, and financial future.
