Title - EHS Technician Duration - 12 Months Location - Cambridge, MA (01239) Description Details EHS Technician: Responsible for the implementation of all Environmental, Health & Safety programs consistent with federal, state, local and corporate regulatory requirements. Duties include: - Implementing hazardous, biological/medical, and radioactive waste programs including routine pickup, transportation, accounting, processing and shipping activities - Conducting regulatory required inspections of equipment, incoming materials and areas - Working on routing EHS assignments per written procedures/policies, where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required - Receives instruction on routing work and new assignments. - Has good interpersonal skills, is attentive and approachable. - Works under moderate supervision of supervisor -supporting multiple sites Top 5 Skills/Experience Required 1. Hazardous Waste Management 2. Laboratory safety program support 3. Safety Training Coordination 4. Records management / regulatory compliance 5. Inspections and incident response Years of experience/education and/or certifications required: High School Diploma with 2 years of experience or Associates Degree with 1 year of experience.
