Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Support the coordination of global financial planning and forecasting processes, including standardization across the Arbon districts.
- Support the progression of forecasting to a driver-based approach, incorporating both internal and external drivers of business performance.
- Collaborate with accounting on month end results, including P&L and balance sheet activity
- Consolidate and prepare monthly financial results, annual budget, semi-annual forecasts, and business metrics across the business units.
- Coordinate monthly operating review packages across the business units.
- Manage SG&A cost centers and partner with leadership team members as needed on ad hoc analysis.
- Develop and prepare regular reports and presentations for management, summarizing company performance, trends, and improvement initiatives along with actionable insights.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by management to drive strategic objectives and initiatives.
- Must be able to commute to our Milwaukee Headquarters a minimum of 3 days a week without relocation support.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5-6 years of experience in progressive finance roles
- 2-3 years previous experience working in an FP&A role
- Experience in industrial manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CTP, FPAC) is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and modern software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively outside the finance department and across all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Understanding of accounting and financial modeling.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with ambiguity
