Are you an experienced Pipeline Technician looking for a new challenge? In this position will be responsible for the operation and maintenance activities of the Transmission South Pipeline System. You will be working in a team environment, based in either Hope or Savona, BC. #joinourteam

What you will do

  • Responsible for the servicing, reliability and integrity of the Pipeline and/or Field Services Systems.
  • General pipeline duties and maintenance.
  • Be capable of working all Unifor 4960 shift.
  • Perform maintenance/operations activities and housekeeping.

Who you are

You have the following qualifications and skills:

Required:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Pipeline experience - Pigger, or Valve Service.
  • Ground Disturbance Level 2 (or to obtain GD2 within first 60 days)
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 5 year driving record, criminal check and drug testing.
  • Strong focus on safety.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Corrosion integrity digs on hot lines.
  • 5+ Years of Ground Disturbance Level Two.
  • Line Locating Certification.
  • AMPP Coating Inspector Level1.
  • NDE Inspector Experience.
  • Welder Inspector.
  • SWP Permit training.
