Our Business Unit Lighting and Imaging offers challenging lighting and image transmission solutions for applications in the markets of automotive, aviation, medical devices, as well as industrial and safety engineering. With production units in Europe, North-America and the worldwide SCHOTT sales organization Lighting and Imaging is a leading supplier for fiber optic components.

Your Contribution
  • Sets-up, operates and maintains presses and ovens.
  • Sets up, adjusts and operates manual and automatic presses in accordance with established processes and procedures.
  • Operates computer-controlled ovens.
  • Performs routine inspections of equipment, dies, and corner blocks.
  • Breaks down, paints, repairs and reassembles dies.
  • Adheres to production schedules.
  • Maintains housekeeping practices per departmental 5S program.
  • Able to meet utilization targets and standard times.
  • Accurately enters Database/SAP transactions in the computer.
  • Maintains daily records, including labor sheets and routers.
Your Profile
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
  • Due to the nature of work performed at this facility, US Person status may be required.
