Assembler C - Fused, 2nd Shift

Our Business Unit Lighting and Imaging offers challenging lighting and image transmission solutions for applications in the markets of automotive, aviation, medical devices, as well as industrial and safety engineering. With production units in Europe, North-America and the worldwide SCHOTT sales organization Lighting and Imaging is a leading supplier for fiber optic components.

* Prepares builds and inspects standard multi and multi/multi assemblies.
* Prepares workstation, fixtures and tooling.
* Obtains boxes of fibers, channels, and moves completed assemblies to staging area.
* Performs routine types of basic and routine multi, multi-multi operations.
* Performs visual inspection of each fiber and of assemblies in process.
* Performs routine repair operations.
* Performs ultrasonic cleaning functions.
* Meets utilization targets and standard times.
* Accurately enters Database/SAP transactions in the computer.
* Maintains daily records, including labor sheets and routers.
* Responsible for observing and following all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and procedures.

* Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated and results oriented.
* Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
* Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
* Due to the nature of work performed at this facility, US Person status may be required.
