Position Details:

Child Mind Institute is looking for an experienced individual to join our team as a Staff Associate for our clinical program. You will support a team of clinicians, and the administrative functioning, development, and maintenance of the clinical program. You will promote communication between our clinicians and their patients and families.

Reporting to the Senior Staff Associate this is an non-exempt, full-time, fully on-site (5 days per week) position located in our Midtown, New York office.

You Will:
  • Provide an outstanding patient experience for families receiving care at Child Mind Institute.

  • Manage clinicians' calendars ensuring efficiency of clinical time, and schedule appointments in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.

  • Facilitate the flow of phone and email communication between clinicians and patients.

  • Collect initial patient information, perform intakes and coordinate services.

  • Check in patient appointments and process daily billing through the EMR system.

  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records.

  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and strictly protect personal health information.

  • Other tasks as assigned

You Have:
  • 2 or more years of administrative or office experience

  • High school diploma or GED

Pay Range

The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
