Human Resources Generalist Pay Grade: 615 Location: Central Office Vacancy Announcement Nature Of The Work Office Environment WC 8810 Brief Description The purpose of this position is to manage the compensation and classification structure, employee development, employee relations programs, and to provide administrative and operational support to the HR department for the Brazos River Authority (BRA). This is accomplished by maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of employee information, maintaining job descriptions; ensuring consistency and equity within the compensation structure; performing general administrative functions including preparing, copying, scanning, and distributing documents; managing department calendars; coordinating meetings and events; verifying receipt of required employee documentation; performing computer data entry; assisting with coordination of projects and activities; and maintaining current and past employee files. Other responsibilities include coordinating and conducting HR and supervisor training throughout the organization; assisting with performance review processes and documentation; fostering beneficial employee relations' activities; assisting the HR Payroll Specialist with the BRA's annual compensation and benefit budget; preparing reports and responding to inquiries; backing up payroll, benefit, and recruiting functions; interacting with other employees and the public; maintaining knowledge of legal requirements and best practices; ensuring compliance of policies and procedures; and any other duties as assigned. STARTING SALARY RANGE: $69,846 and $90,800 annual salary. This is an exempt position. POSTING DATE: March 6, 2025 Open until filled. Today, BRA's staff develops and distributes water supplies, provides water and wastewater treatment, monitors water quality, and pursues water conservation through public education programs.
